Theo Hernandez and Randal Kolo Muani, who scored in the semi-finals, have expressed their joy in helping France reach a second straight World Cup final.
Les Bleus defeated Morocco 2-0 in the semi-finals on Wednesday night, setting up a Sunday clash with Lionel Messi and Argentina.
Theo Hernandez, who scored just five minutes at Al Bayt Stadium, dedicated the victory to his brother Lucas, who had suffered a terrible knee injury against Australia during the group stage.
“Playing two World Cup finals in a row is a fantastic moment. We did a terrific job; it was difficult, but we made it to the final. We will try hard to win this final. “I also have a fantastic idea for my brother,” the Milan left-back told TF1.
“It’s wonderful, I don’t have the words to explain it,” Eintracht Frankfurt striker Kolo Muani said following an easy tap-in after Kylian Mbappe’s original shot was stopped. We must provide ourselves with the resources to complete the journey.
“I’m stuck in my dreams, and it’s hard to wake up. I fared great following Kylian since he makes all of the efforts. I am pleased with my situation. For the time being, I am unaware. We’ll all realize it in the morning.”
Hernandez and Kolo Muani did not play for France in 2018. Therefore, they are vying for their first World Cup gold medals.
