Neymar was charitable after receiving the Man of the Match award for Brazil’s 4-1 World Cup quarterfinal victory against South Korea on Monday night.
After suffering an ankle injury only one game into this winter’s competition, the PSG attacker recently returned to training.
Neymar was rumored to be in danger of missing the remainder of the tournament, but he returned Monday evening, scoring a penalty kick in Brazil’s resounding victory.
Neymar thanked those who helped him recover so fast and lauded the work of his teammates after such a tremendous victory when addressing the media following the game.
