Rafael Leao has commented on his future at AC Milan as transfer rumors surrounding the Portuguese’s future at the club continue circulating.
The 23-year-old attacker has become one of the top performers at San Siro over the last couple of seasons, scoring 14 goals and pushing his way into the Portugal squad.
Rafael Leao was a member of the Portugal team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Cup, scoring twice, including a spectacular goal against Switzerland in the Round of 16.
Chelsea has made Leao a primary priority, and “allfootballleague” believes that the Blues were buoyed when he recently rejected early contract offers from Milan.
Nevertheless, the athlete has claimed he is content with his current situation and is not pressing for a transfer, but he hopes to gain new experiences.
Leao said the following in an interview with Des Cons Truir in his own country: “Experience in a new league? Yes, I am wholly committed to AC Milan in the future. It is a premier club, and I have a contract there. I also like the city.
Leao also spoke about the clubs he has liked watching this season, singling out Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Arsenal.
“I see numerous games. This season, I’m a fan of Arsenal since they’re performing so well,” he remarked.
Leao is under contract with Milan until 2024, with a release clause of €150 million.
