Gerard Pique is Barcelona president material, says La Liga president Javier Tebas. He Pique is found as one of the greatest defenders of a generation. Pique will retire after Barcelona‘s game against Almeria on 5 November.
The 35-year-old has made no secret of his desire to join the club’s board. He was born in Barcelona and came through La Masia. Tebas said of Pique, “He has three qualities to become Barcelona president. I have no doubt.” He’s 25 years old. As a player and businessman, he knows both football and sports.
“He knows they’re different. With his business successes and failures, he can be a great president of Barcelona. “I’m confident about his wonderful skills.
Pique co-founded a sports media and investment company simultaneously. Kosmos Holding, Company name and used it to buy FC Andorra, a Spanish second-tier club. Pique’s grandfather was a La Blaugrana board member, furthering his club ties.
