Mauricio Pochettino has left the door open for him to manage either Real Madrid or Manchester United one day, saying that he believes he will have the chance to do so in the future.
The Argentine hasn’t had a job since Paris Saint-Germain fired him at the end of the 2021/22 season. His 18-month stay in the French capital was a mixed bag.
Before joining PSG, Pochettino became famous all over the world as the manager of Tottenham. He took them from being outside the top six to being contenders for the Premier League title and led them to their first-ever Champions League final.
During his five years in north London, Pochettino was often linked to Real Madrid and Manchester United. He always said he was committed to the Spurs, but he didn’t rule out taking those jobs either.
Pochettino told Marca that he thinks he will get another chance to manage those clubs.
