Pep Guardiola has renewed his contract with Manchester City until 2025, according to a recent announcement.
The Spaniard’s contract was slated to expire at the conclusion of the current season, and he often hinted that he would wait until then to decide his next move.
Wednesday, City announced that Guardiola has signed a new contract with the club.
Guardiola said, “I am delighted to extend my tenure at Manchester City for another two years.”
“I cannot thank everyone at the club enough for their confidence. I am content and relaxed here. I am equipped with everything necessary to perform my duties to the highest standards.
“I am certain that the next decade of this club’s history will be extraordinary. It has occurred in the last 10 years and will occur in the future ten years due to the club’s stability.
“From the first day I was here, I sensed something extraordinary. I could not be in a better position.
“I still believe we can do more together, which is why I want to remain and continue competing for prizes.”
